What this covers

Nexus AI Strategies builds automations for small businesses. Sometimes those automations connect to a client's business software, such as QuickBooks Online or Lightspeed Retail. This policy explains what we do with that data.

What we access

Only what the automation needs, and only after the business owner approves the connection. For example, an ordering system may read products, customers, sales and stock levels, and create invoices. We never ask for banking or payroll access.

How we use it

Only to run the service that client asked for. We do not sell, rent or share client data, and we never use it for advertising.

AI processing

Some features send short pieces of text, like a question about the system, to an AI provider (Anthropic) to write an answer. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, that data is not used to train its models.

Where it's kept and for how long

Connection keys are stored in encrypted storage that only Nexus AI Strategies can reach. Client data is kept only as long as the service needs it, and deleted within 60 days after the client disconnects or ends the service, or sooner if they ask.

Your control

A business can disconnect us at any time: in QuickBooks, Settings → Apps → Disconnect; in Lightspeed, remove the app; or email us and we'll do it. To ask what we hold, or to have it deleted, email insight@nexusaistrategies.com.

Security

We use encrypted connections, limited permissions, and access restricted to Nexus AI Strategies. If we ever learn of a breach that affects your data, we will tell you promptly.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and tell active clients.
